CSEPDI has given full play to the superiority of technologies and talents in recent years, strived to improve the core competence for the EPC contracting service, made great breakthroughs in both domestic and overseas EPC contracting markets, and accelerated in building the Institute into an international engineering company. Up to the present the institute has undertaken 25 EPC contracting projects, with total contract value of more than RMB 10 billion Yuan, among which, there are 19 power generation projects, with the total capacity of 2900 MW and 6 power transmission & transformation projects, with the total capacity of substations more than 4 million KVA and the total line length more than 750km. The undertaken EPC contracting of power generation project covers multiple types from single system of the power plant to 600MW at single-unit installation; while the EPC contracting of power transmission & transformation projects cover the various voltage classes ranged from 110kV to 500kV. Project locations cover several provinces and autonomous regions in China and also Africa & South Asia. Among these projects that have been put into operation, Shendong/Baode 2×135MW Coal Gangue Power Plant and Wuhan Sinopec No. 2 Substation Project were awarded the National Silver Key Prize for EPC Contracting Project, and Guizhou-Guandong 500kV AC Transmission & Transformation Project—500kV Hezhou Substation, was awarded the National Bronze Key Prize for EPC Contracting Project.
